Lifestyle Experiences: Exploring Key Attributes of Lifestyle Hotels Using Instagram User-Created Contents in South Korea

This study aims to investigate the key attributes of a steadily growing hotel sector (lifestyle hotels), which has shown great success in global competitive market, by analyzing user-created content on Instagram. The dataset used this were prepared from total 20,999 lifestyle posts and 24,262 boutique created 2013 2020 retrieved using Python web crawler. locations, hashtags, image data analyzed based frequency analysis social network methods computer vision technology, after they visualized with geographical information system Gephi. results demonstrated that hotels share differentiate them others terms physical, geospatial, experiential contexts. Design, location, management type are main comprise distinct identity each hotel. Moreover, is staying former means consuming experiences continuous changes. knowledge gained research will contribute bridging gap between theoretical literature practical development hospitality.
